Training Video: 3-Level Master Detail Page in IronSpeed
This video tutorial is to demonstrate how to build a 3-level Master Detail Page in Iron Speed Designer v6.2.
We want to introduce one of the hidden gems in Iron Speed Designer page types -- ShowTable page with Details below. Working with fellow iron speed customers, we’ve discovered that most of us don’t use that enough and it’s really a neat page type.
More than often, we want to see a lot of details on the same page about one particular subject, sometimes it’s a person, or it’s a store, or it’s a particular product, such as it’s inventory level, technical specs, vendor information, or sales prediction all on the same page. To do this, we can easily have a View page with a IronSpeed RecordControl on top and tabs on the bottom. But what if user wants to easily move across the list jumping from a product to another? We can then use this advanced page type I am going to cover in this tutorial.
